Barriers to Employment for People Aged 50+ in Blackburn with Darwen

The employment levels for people aged over 50 in Blackburn with Darwen are significantly lower than for the general working age population. The 50+ Partnership along with the Borough Council commissioned research by the Centre for Local Economic Strategies (CLES) to identify the specific problems that local people aged 50+ are facing when trying to get back into employment.
